Highly recommend coming here - my friends and I came on a Sunday at 3 PM when there is not much open on Sundays on Arthur Avenue. We ordered the arancini balls. We got four of them in one order and they were fairly small but tasted good. We also got calamari which was delicious. The appetizers were a good portion for 4 ppl. the white sangria was delicious and there is bread for the table which is really good. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with vodka sauce with a side of penne vodka that it came with and it was so good. My friend the baked ziti and she liked it, my other friend thought that the linguine with white clams was a little salty. We didn't have dessert because we wanted to get cannolis at a local bakery. It was great to find a place that didn't rush us out. The service was great. I dropped my knife and I immediately got one without asking. the restaurant is very dark inside, however, they put a little lamp to help us see the menu.

All the food was amazing, but the Arancini was probably in the top 4 or 5 I have ever eaten and I live in New York! The waitstaff was attentive and efficient. The restaurant is a little dark, but they gave us a table lamp without having to ask. It's a couple of blocks away from Arthur Avenue and well worth the stroll.

Great service and wonderful food. The restaurant is old style and traditional! Loved everything about my experience there!

The food was incredible! The staff are very attentive and anything you get from the menu will be absolutely delicious! The calamari is incredible definitely get it for an appetizer! :D

Great service. Food was great and fresh. Best meatball pizza and bread with olive oil was delish!

Have frequented this great gem many times... way can be said, like stepping back in time when the restaurant actually cared about the client. Good, service and the "real " atmosphere is all you can ask for, no?

This place was so good, I had it in my bookmarks for a while and have NO IDEA why I hadn't been there before. It was Saturday and we came with no reservation. I called beforehand to ask if they required reservations and he said we could come, as soon as we walked in the server recognized my voice, which was pretty great, and he sat us at a table next to the windows that he had gotten ready for us when I called. Every person that came to our table was incredibly friendly and with such a sweet vibe. We shared eggplant parmigiana for appetizer, and let me tell you, IT WAS THE BEST I HAVE HAD!!! We devoured it as soon as they brought, the delicious smell had us going crazy!! My and my mom LOVED IT!!! For entree my mom chose Alfredo Fettuccini with chicken and I chose Spaghetti Carbonara, they were both delicious and savory but not salty and the pasta was cooked to perfection!! For dessert we chose two of their homemade ones: Italian cheesecake and tiramisu. My mom LOVED the Italian cheesecake and we were actually pretty surprised to see it was nothing like American cheesecake, it had more like an actual cake texture and it was not too sweet, which she loved even more! My tiramisu was definitely made in heaven, it was so delicious and soft, you could taste every ingredient but as a perfect combination, nothing was overpowering!! We both left desiring to come back soon. I have it on my list to come back specially because I want to try one of their tomato sauce pastas, that sauce from the eggplant parmigiana was nothing I had before, so delicious, so fresh, so much flavor!!!! Definitely going back soon!!

The complimentary bread (2 thick slices) was fluffy with a chewy crust. It was so good, I'd consider buying a whole loaf. The Penne alla Vodka was amazing, and the sauce's flavor isn't too overwelcoming. The pasta was al dente, and the portion wasn't underwhelming. I can't speak to the service or ambiance of the restaurant, since I ordered delivery, but I'd love to visit in person sometime to dine in!
